The Center for Innovative Materials and Architectures (INOMAR), formerly Center for Molecular and Nanoarchitecture (MANAR), was established in 2011 as a joint research center between Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM) and University of California, Berkeley (UCB) through Professor Omar M. Yaghi’s research group.
INOMAR conducts innovative basic research with international standards and seeks to promote high quality postgraduate programs in Vietnam through global mentoring. It is our belief that mentoring is the solution for creating intellectual vitality within Vietnam’s research community, which ultimately leads to a sustained culture of innovation and excellence. Further, global mentoring is a reliable method of teaching the ‘know-how’ that is fundamentally important in the development of high impact research programs.
