Binh and Ha publish in Chemistry of Materials

Ph.D. students Binh T. Nguyen and Ha L. Nguyen are authors on a recently accepted research paper in Chemistry of Materials (Impact Factor 9.407) entitled "High Methanol Uptake Capacity in Two New Series of Metal-Organic Frameworks: Promising Materials for Adsorption-Driven Heat Pump Applications". Delegations from NAFOSTED visit INOMAR

 

On Wednesday, 7th September, 2016, Mr. Do Tien Dzung, Director of National Foundation of Science and Technology Development (NAFOSTED), and delegations come to INOMAR. On behalf of INOMAR, Prof. Hoang Dzung presented the general research activities, our recently achievements and some research fields in future. We also take them to a tour of cutting-edge facilities and laboratories. We thank them for visiting our center and hope their support of INOMAR.  

Dr. Thuat gives a Seminar to INOMAR Scientists and Students

Dr. Trinh Thanh Thuat, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, gave a talk to INOMAR scientists and students on June 24th. His talk was about predicting and understanding the mechanism of gas mixture adsorption and separation by UTSA-16 MOF. The topic of the seminar was met with enthusiasm by INOMAR experimentalist in utlizing MOF and ZIF for green technology. Thank Dr. Thuat for visiting us. 

Prof. Mai Suan Li talks about Protein Aggregation and Related Diseases

Prof. Mai Suan Li, Insitute of Physics, Polish Academy of Science and Technology, gave a seminar for INOMAR scientists and students on June 22nd. His presentation extended across theoretical calculation and experiments in biophysics, particularly drug design. A computation could help to reduce risk and higher selectivity for designing a new drug. Prof. Li's presentation is met our direction in extending research topics. We look forward a collaboration between Prof. Li's group, INOMAR and Stem Cell Lab.
