Prof. Nguyen Manh Duc visited INOMAR

We was welcome Prof. Duc Nguyen-Manh, who is Senior Staff Scientist at Theory and Modeling Department, Culham Centre for Fusion Energy, United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority, Abingdon, United Kingdom. Prof. Duc Nguyen visited and discussed with INOMAR researchers how to move forward the modeling and theoretical research as well as the connection between the theory and experimental.

We are grateful to Prof. Duc Nguyen due to his productive discussion and strongly support for young researchers at INOMAR.

Congratulation!!! Prof. Thang Phan contributed to be a co-author in ACS Applied Materials Interfaces

Prof. Thang Phan, director of INOMAR, has just published a paper in ACS AMI (IF = 7.5) as a co-author, which was collaborated with Prof. Ju from Department of Nano-Physics, Gachon University, Seongnam, South Korea. Please join us in congratulating this achievement!

Detail of the paper:

N. H. T. Tran, J. Kim, T. B. Phan, S. Khym, H. Ju "Label-Free Optical Biochemical Sensors via Liquid Cladding Induced Modulation of Waveguide Modes" ACS Appl. Mater. Interfaces 2017, Just Accepted.

Congratulation!!! We have published a paper in Catalysis Science and Technology

INOMAR researchers, Thuy Linh, Lac Ha, and Hoang Tan have just been accepted a manuscript collaborated with Dr. Hoang Phuong from University of Science by Catalysis Science & Technology Journal (IF = 5.773). We presented the superacidity activity of VNU-11-SO4, Hf-based MOF, which are applied for the synthesis of benzoxazoles under solvent free conditions. Please join us in congratulating the second paper for Linh and one more for Dr. Lac Ha and Dr. Hoang Tan as well as the first corresponding author for Dr. Hoang Tan.

Detail of manuscript:

Linh H. T. Nguyen, The T. Nguyen, Ha L. Nguyen, Tan L. H. Doan, Phuong H. Tran, A new superacid hafnium-based metal-organic framework as a highly active heterogeneous catalyst for the synthesis of benzoxazoles under solvent-free condition, Catal. Sci. Technol. 2017, just accepted.

Dr. Felipe Gándara and Dr. Jer-lai Kuo visited INOMAR!

Dr. Felipe Gándara, a research scientist from Multifunctional and Supramolecular Materials Group, Instituto de Ciencia de Materiales de Madrid (ICMM) visited INOMAR Center for two days. He was working with our researcher to figure out the scope of manuscripts and discussing the vision of research in the future. Dr. Felipe Gándara also toured the University of Science, VNU-HCM before departing to India for a conference.

At this time, Modeling group in INOMAR had a chance to discuss with Dr. Jer-lai Kuo the initial results and further investigation in computational and theoretical research.

Thanks for visiting us!

Congratulation!!! A Proton Manuscript had been accepted in Inorganic Chemistry Frontiers

INOMAR researchers, Tien Lo, My Nguyen, and Thach Tu have just been accepted a manuscript by Inorganic Chemistry Frontiers Journal (IF = 4.036). This work describes the architectural features of Zr-based MOF, termed VNU-17 and VNU-17 loaded Imidazole which enhances the proton conductivity. Please join us in congratulating the first paper for My and one more for Tien as well as the first corresponding author for Dr. Thach Tu.
